The Kargo Master EZ-LoDownâ„¢ Drop Down Ladder Rack is uniquely designed and engineered to gently lower and raise a ladder into position for easy loading and unloading. It includes heavy-duty hydraulic-assisted arm with lockable clamp arms and rollers on each ladder platform to provide safe and smooth operation for heavy ladders or load to slide down the side of the van. The Kargo Master EZ-LoDownâ„¢ Drop Down Ladder Rack drops 15″ lower than any competitor models. After being lowered, a horizontal ladder is only 4 ft above grade, which eliminates climbing, stretching, or reaching for heavy items. The van ladder rack rugged crossbows hover just inches above the roof to reduce overall vehicle height and to facilitate loading and unloading. Easy to assemble, the Kargo Master EZ-LoDownâ„¢ Drop Down Ladder Rack is installed using strong, wide mounting feet, which clamp the rack securely to the rain gutter to provide maximum support and stability. The wide mounting feet also offer easy, no-drill installation. Kargo Master van ladder drop down racks are treated with zinc primer with chip resistant marine grade powder coat to provide excellent corrosion, rust, and UV resistance.
